Candle Safety
Whilst we enjoy the beautiful aromas of candles throughout our home there are a few safety tips
Candle Care 101 - How to get the best out of your Soy Candle
1. Never leave a candle burning unattended
2. Burn your candle for at least a minimum of 2 hours as you need to create a burn memory, but no longer than 4 hours at a time, if you burn the candle longer than 4 hours the wax and the jar will become hotter and burn quicker reducing the total burn time of your candle
3. Always trim the wick after each burn and ensure the wick is upright, this will promote an even burn and lengthen the life of your candle
4. Never burn your candle to the very end; always leave at least 1/2 inch (10mm) of wax at the bottom. This can result in your jar getting too hot and cracking
5. Glass candle jars get hot; always place your candle on a flat heat-resistant surface - place it on the candle lid or use a candle holder dish
6. Avoid burning your candle in drafty areas, in front of an open window or a fan
7. This goes without saying - Please keep candles away from children, animals and flammable materials
8. Do not use if the glass is cracked, chipped or broken
